Eligibility Categories
Intellectual Disability
IQ of 75 or below, limits in adaptive behaviour, with onset before age 22.
Significant Additional Impairment
Intellectual disability plus a significant additional impairment, such as Down syndrome.
Autism
An autism spectrum diagnosis (without intellectual disability) with functional impact on sport participation.
How To Register
Collect your documents
A psychologist's report with IQ score, an adaptive behaviour assessment, proof the impairment began before age 22, photo ID and a recent photo.
Complete the application
Fill in the eligibility form for your category (II-1, II-2 or II-3) and upload your supporting documents.
We lodge it for you
Sports 4 All submits your application to Sport Inclusion Australia on your behalf.
Receive your eligibility card
Once approved, your card unlocks trials, state teams and pathway events in your sport.

How long does the NSW sport eligibility process take?
Once Sports 4 All submits your paperwork to Sport Inclusion Australia, your eligibility card is usually issued within 4–6 weeks if everything is complete.
Does NSW sport eligibility guarantee Paralympic entry?
Not by itself. Only athletics, swimming and table tennis currently have Paralympic events for intellectual disability (II-1). Your eligibility card is the first prerequisite, followed by meeting each sport's performance standards.
What if my sport isn't in the Paralympics?
Virtus runs world championships and the Global Games for many sports outside the Paralympics. Your NSW sport eligibility still unlocks state and national events run by your sport's governing body.
Is there a fee for NSW sport eligibility?
Yes. Sport Inclusion Australia charges a one-off processing fee. Sports 4 All invoices you once your application is accepted.
