Do I need any qualifications to start volunteering?

No qualifications are necessary to begin volunteering with us. We welcome anyone enthusiastic about contributing to the community.

Is Sports 4 All a registered charity?

Yes. Sports 4 All is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

Can I pursue a coaching pathway in my chosen sport?

Absolutely. We provide pathways for volunteers to develop their skills and advance in their preferred sports, including coaching and leadership roles.

What if I'm just interested in attending sporting events?

That's perfectly fine. We appreciate volunteers who want to support and cheer on participants. Your presence at these events is invaluable.

Will I need to travel far to volunteer?

Travel distances vary based on your preferences, and most opportunities are within a 30-minute drive. For state or national events, you might travel with a team for a few days, always agreed in advance.

Is there a minimum time commitment for volunteering?

No fixed commitment is required. Typical shifts run 3–5 hours, and we're flexible around whatever time you're able to offer.

Do I need references or a Working With Children Check to start?

No references are required to begin. No checks are required initially, but if you're volunteering with children we recommend obtaining a Working With Children Check (WWCC) within four weeks of starting.

Will volunteering cost me anything?

No, volunteering with us only requires your time and dedication.
